Oxford Junction, or “OJ” to the locals, is located in the far southeastern corner of Jones County.
Originally known as Garfield, Oxford Junction was settled due to the cross over (or junction) of the Davenport, St. Paul, Sabula, Ackley, and Dakota Railroads in 1872. This “Little City” has a lot to discover with community events, businesses, organizations and great hometown atmosphere.
